2010 - January 2nd Snowstorm
AboutJanuary 2nd Snowstorm -
This storm was smaller accumulation-wise, when compared to the December 19th, 2009 storm, but still represents winter 2010's second-largest storm to date.
The real story of this storm was the wind and coastal erosion along the interior of Cape Cod Bay. The afternoon and midnight tides on the 2nd were astronomically high, and when combined with a 40mph northerly wind, water piled up along the shores of the bay.
