CFS Outlook November 5th 2008

The November 5th Climate Forecast System temperature outlook. The model now indicates an above normal start to the winter for much of North America. Later in the winter and into the start of spring, the CFS now points to colder than normal conditions over much of Central and Western Canada and much above normal conditions across the southern and eastern sections of the Lower 48 states. This is an interesting shift from the conditions forecast by this particular model during October. The next post will be November 15th.
