Morning Fog. Afternoon T-Storm?

Tuesday July 1, 2008 06:36 AM

The visible satellite image at 7AM clearly shows an area of low clouds and fog over and surrounding much of Cape Cod and the Islands. Thankfully, once the strong early July sunshine goes to work by mid to late morning it will break up this low gray overcast and skies should become partly to mostly sunny around the area, making for a rather nice midday and afternoon around Cape Cod. The only potential fly-in-the-ointment is the slight chance of a pop-up shower or thunderstorm around the area during the afternoon. While the chances of seeing wet weather are fairly low, check the local radar and the visible satellite image periodically to see if any activity is trying to fire up.
