Tropics Becoming Active

September is the climatological peak of the Atlantic Hurricane Season and as August draws to a close it appears coming weeks may be busy for forecasters. Recent satellite photos of the Atlantic Ocean show multiple tropical systems being watched closely for development, almost all of which could potentially be of concern to interests along the East Coast and the Gulf of Mexico.
