While it's far too early to say whether Hanna will be a threat to land, the forecast track for this system takes it westward over the next five days, and the storm should be taken extremely seriously. Preparations for a potential landfall of Gustav should already be under way for Gulf Coast residents, and preparations for the potential landfall along the East Coast for Hanna should begin soon as well. Preparedness is key to savings lives and property.
